Hampta Pass

Few treks change scenery as fast as Hampta. You start in pine forest and river meadows on the Kullu side and crest the pass into the moonscape of Spiti within a day.

The pass day is long and the descent is steep, but standing on the col with two completely different worlds on either side is hard to beat.
